Participants, Academy faculty, presenters, special guests and sponsors are treated to an elegant appreciation dinner on Wednesday evening. To round out the evening, attendees are treated to a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to see, hear and meet a nationally/globally acclaimed artist.

Bravo! The Tennessee Arts Academy Awards Banquet and Performance

On Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m., TAA participants will gather for Bravo! The Tennessee Arts Academy Awards Banquet and Performance in the Curb Event Center Arena. This night is designed to honor and reward the hard work and artistic talents of all of the Academy participants and is a gift, free of charge to each Academy attendee. Upon entering the Curb Event Center, TAA provides a professional photographer and red carpet setting so all TAA participants can have their photo taken with friends and colleagues. The banquet features an elegant full-course meal. Dinner music enlivens the entire first part of the evening.

Numerous Arts Academy awards will be presented throughout the night. Each year, awards are presented to nationally recognized artists, state education leaders, and arts advocates. Click here for more information on the Bravo! Awards.

After dinner, a special performance featuring a major Broadway musical theatre star is intended as a gift from the Academy to all those in attendance. Past performers include Marvin Hamlisch, Richard Sherman, Laura Osnes, Aaron Lazar, Alton Fitzgerald White, Rebecca Luker, Dean Pitchford, Stephanie J. Block and many others.

The Bravo! Banquet is generously sponsored by a gift from Belmont University. The appearance of the guest entertainer is made possible by a generous gift from Pat and Thane Smith.
