The Academy core faculty consists of twenty nationally recognized professors, academic instructors, and artists assembled from leading, universities, schools, and arts institutions from throughout the United States. Franklin Willis serves as the director of visual and performing arts for Metro Nashville Public Schools, overseeing arts education initiatives across one of the nation’s largest school districts. With more than fifteen years of experience in music education, Willis is a published children’s book author, composer, and adjunct music education professor at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music.
